TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL PET REGISTRY MICROCHIP DATABASE

  1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the pet microchip database (the "Database") offered by International Pet Registry ("we" or "us"). By using the Database, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Database.

  2. Registration In order to use the Database, you must register your pet's microchip with us. You must provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your pet during the registration process. You are responsible for keeping your registration information up to date.By placing an order with us for the pet microchip database services, you acknowledge and agree that when a microchip is searched and your pet's information is accessed, your name and phone number may be released to the person or organization performing the search. You understand and accept that this is necessary to reunite you with your lost or stolen pet, and you waive any claims or damages that may arise from such disclosure of your personal information. It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact information you provide is accurate and up-to-date, and to notify us of any changes. We will not be liable for any losses or damages that may arise from inaccurate or outdated contact information.

  3. Use of the Database The Database is provided solely for the purpose of reuniting lost pets with their owners. You may use the Database to search for lost pets or to report a lost pet. You may not use the Database for any other purpose without our express written permission.

4. Privacy We take your privacy very seriously. We will not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with any third party without your consent, except as required by law.

5. Fees We may charge a fee for registration with the Database or for other services we provide. If we do, we will clearly disclose the fees before you use the service. All fees are non-refundable, except as expressly provided in these Terms.

6. Refunds We reserve the right to refuse a refund if you have received services, including but not limited to data entry, as part of your use of the Database. We may, in our sole discretion, offer a refund if we determine that it is appropriate in a particular case.

7. Termination We may terminate your use of the Database at any time and for any reason, without notice or liability to you. You may also terminate your use of the Database at any time by notifying us in writing.

Disclaimer of Warranties THE DATABASE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE DATABASE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

  1. Limitation of Liability IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE DATABASE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  2. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, and liabilities, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Database or your violation of these Terms.

  3. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are located, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with these Terms must be brought in the courts of the jurisdiction in which we are located.

  4. Entire Agreement These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to your use of the Database, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us.
